This article talks about how the U.S is fighting and how U.S president Barack Obama has requested to authorize military force in the war against ISIS, limiting it to three years and to stop using troops in "enduring offensive ground combat. He wants to target ISIS, have no geographical limits and to have this expire in 3 years and has to be renewed after that. Both the U.S senate and the House of Congress have to approve it. He wants to start taking serious action against ISIS.
This can be connected back to 2001 after the attacks of 9/11 how president George.W.Bush and Bill Clinton wanted to take action against Al Qaeda. That was 14 years ago and again today the same thing is happening, how the U.S wants to take action on an opposing group. Very similar yet very much the same.
